The value for money was great and the room was nice and cozy. The location is perfect, with a lovely beach walk to Saltburn, and the staff at the inn were friendly and accommodating.
More breakfast choices would have made it even better.

The location was mind-blowing, with easy access to the beach and a charming village nearby. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. Shout out to Seb, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I would definitely return and recommend it to others. A little bit of decoration and tidying up could be done, but overall, a great experience. The quiz and Open Mic nights were jaw-droppingly fun.

Stayed at a lovely inn above a pub in Marske by sea. The Ship Inn had a great atmosphere and felt connected to the local community. It was a short distance from Redcar and Saltburn, easily accessible by rail or bus. I particularly enjoyed the pleasant coastal walk to Saltburn. The hotel itself was not the Ritz, but it had a cozy feel and offered better value for money than other options. a fantastic location and a delightful experience.
No complaints whatsoever.

Love staying here. Staff helped with currency. Has everything I need: parking, bar, TV, kettle, beach access. Can't wait to come back for holiday.

The location was great, with easy access to parking and close proximity to both the train station and the beach. The double bed in our room was clean and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the property had a nice downstairs area that seemed recently renovated.
the service from some of the staff members was lacking in customer service skills, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. The upstairs area of the hotel was in need of care and attention, with loose tiles in the bathroom and general disrepair.

I had a wonderful stay at a cosy little inn in a lovely seaside resort. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The food at The Ship Inn was excellent, and I especially want to give a shoutout to Seb, who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The location was great, with a beautiful beach walk to the neighboring Saltburn. The inn is also conveniently located within walking distance from the railway station. it was the perfect place for couples looking for a relaxing getaway.
Nothing could dampen my experience at the inn - everything was great! 😊

The bed in our room was clean and comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. We were also happy with the easy parking and the convenient location near the back door. Being able to find the hotel easily and having a parking spot made our city break hassle-free. the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay.
One aspect we didn't like was that the restaurant closed quite early, by 7:30 pm. breakfast wasn't ready by 8 am, which was a bit disappointing.

We recently stayed at a lovely inn in a charming seaside resort. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our room had a comfortable double bed, and we had easy access to parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The inn also had a dining room, bar, and a sports room with pool table and darts, providing plenty of entertainment options. We enjoyed a beautiful beach walk to the neighboring town, Saltburn. we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for couples looking to unwind and enjoy some downtime.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, situated in the charming village of Marske by the sea. It offered easy access to a lovely Thai restaurant within walking distance and a short drive to Saltburn on sea. The double bed in our room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay.
One aspect that could be improved is the bar service on Saturday evenings. It seems that there may be some issues with queue management and staff attitude, which resulted in some unpleasant experiences for guests.
